Video and Picture Blogging

i have a new sony ericsson k850i, and it's doing something that i
think journalists and entrepreneurs may appreciate. it not only can
send RSS feeds to my phone, but it scrolls through them on my phone's
'home page'–with pictures. so, i do nothing but watch as it shows me
monks in tibet and the shuttle landing (...not the same pic). this is
notable since it really makes getting the news in a savory way
possible on a mobile device. since everyone always has their phone
with them, i expect people to increasingly covet this mobile news
space. and by news, i mean any display of public or private info you
can share between parties from the BCC to a personal blog. a screen
shot from an upcoming phone is attached here. (it
also mentions video blogging via the phone, which my current model has.)

my ship has come in

this pic was taken in the 40's in nyc. This boat lays in the Hudson, just a few blocks from what is today Pastis in the meatpacking district. you can see the elevated highway that was the torn down in the 70's, and replaced by the West Side Highway. (the elevated roadway was torn down because part of it collapsed in 70's, and it was deemed unsafe.) the High Line elevated park is just out of site, and would be about an 3/4" north of where the pic ends.

Congestion Pricing

The following is the Environmental Defense Fund's summary of why the congestion pricing plan is good for NYC and America:

I support this plan.
